Closing of APC Centenary
On the celebration of the Feast of St. Paul, the Apostle, patron of the Pauline Family, the Association of the Pauline Cooperators (APC) also celebrated the closing of their centenary foundation. The Pauline family gathered at the Sanctuary of St. Paul in Makati City last June 30, 2018 to celebrate this momentous event. The Holy Eucharist was presided by Rev. Fr. Jose Aripio, Provincial Superior of the Society of St. Paul. The Provincial Superiors from different Pauline congregations were also present, among them were Sr. M. Anthony Basa, PDDM PTH Provincial Superior, Sr. Delia Abian, FSP Provincial Superior, and Sr. Cynthia Angalot, SJBP representing Sr. M. Arsenia Estrada, SJBP Provincial Superior. After the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, the Pauline family shared the banquet prepared at the Alberione hall. The Pauline family experienced a quick look at the centenary celebration held in Rome when they showed two video presentations prepared by Sr.M. Sonia Cerdenia, PDDM and Fr. Ramil Tapang, SSP. Some members of the APC who went to Rome also shared their personal and communal experiences.
The Pauline Family is grateful to these our brothers and sisters in the Association of the Pauline Cooperators. They are wonderfully doing their part especially in spreading the Gospel through their way of life. Though the centenary is over, the work in God’s vineyard remains alive as these our brothers and sisters continue their mission to “wake up the world with the light of the Gospel.”
For the gift of the Association of the Pauline Cooperators in the Pauline family and in the church of today, we say, “Thanks be to God!”
