Celebrating the Gift of Vocations
The celebration of the 58th year of the definitive pontifical approval of our congregation last August 30, 2018 was blessed with the gift of vocations in the PTH province.
One with Mary in singing the magnificat at vespers, the sisters at DMC-Antipolo rejoiced as four postulants entered the Novitiate—Teresa, Diane Therese, Maria and Carolette. They were received by Sr. M. Anthony Basa, the Provincial Superior and were entrusted to the care of Sr. M. Lawrence Consulta, now the Novitiate Directress of the province. Their faces were glowing with much joy and love as they wore their new habit for the first time. Also, the rejoicing was doubled by the admission to the Pre-Postulancy of three vocations, namely: Joyce (Filipina), Hoa (Vietnamese) and Wenling Grace (Chinese). These young ladies will form their pre-postulancy community with Sr. M. Nimfa Ebora as their formator.
Indeed, this event was also a celebration of life, of new birth and hope for all of us. The Lord has provided workers for his vineyard; and so, we pray that as they journey, may the love of Jesus the Divine Master bring forth maturity to the seed of vocation God has instilled in them in his perfect time.
