Gifts of PDDM Vocation
Today, 10th of February 2019, at the celebration of our 95th foundation anniversary as a congregation, our Province received the gifts of vocation in the persons of our sisters who renewed their vows and of a young lady, Alaine Jamorol, who joined the pre-postulancy formation.
In DMC-Taiwan, Sr. M. Lixia Zhang renewed her vows during the Eucharistic Celebration which was presided by Fr. Thomas Cui. Her renewal of vows was received by Sr. M. Virginia Velez, Local Superior of DMC-Taiwan as delegated by Sr. M. Anthony Basa, our Provincial Superior. After the Holy mass, the sisters together with some friends and classmates of Sr. M. Lixia shared a meal at the rooftop of the Sisters’ residence.
In DMC-Antipolo, Alaine Jamorol, a young lady from the province of Zamboanga del Sur in Mindanao proclaimed her “Yes” during the celebration of Lauds. Alaine is a fruit of vocation zeal in Hongkong. She was welcomed by her companions at the pre-postulancy community and she will be under the guidance of Sr. M. Bernadette Martinez.
Moreover, at the celebration of the Holy Eucharist that was presided by Fr. Guido Everaert, CICM, our three temporary professed sisters made their renewal of vows. Sr. M. Cheryl Celestre, Sr. M. Jessiebel Maata and Sr. M. Josephine Tanate renewed their commitment to serve Jesus in his vineyard. Sr. M. Lawrence Consulta, Provincial Councilor for Formation, received their renewal of vows and this was witnessed by the faithful and sisters present during this regular Sunday mass.
