Feastday of Sr. M. Anthony

At this time of pandemic, Sr. M. Anthony E. Basa, the Provincial Superior of Philippine-Taiwan-Hongkong Province celebrated her feastday in a very unique way.  On the feastday of St. Anthony of Padua, the whole province joined Sr. M. Anthony in thanking God for the gift of her ministry in the province and in the congregation.  Sr. M. Anthony received greetings from different communities in the province through digital form and even had shared the celebration of the Holy Eucharist through online.  Rev. Fr. Serge Maniba presided the Holy Eucharist celebrated at the chapel of Alberione Center in Quezon city which was aired through facebook live.  Since at this time, the possibility of having an exhibit of the creativity of the Sisters is difficult to realize, Sr. M. Magdalene Magallanes, Councilor for Apostolate, presented an exhibit through online viewing as they set up an exhibit at PAC-Manila community.  It is difficult to travel from one community to the other because of the quarantine protocol so the sisters had creatively shared the display utilizing the social media.  At DMC-Antipolo, Sr. M. Anthony was also surprised by the sisters in their presentation of creativity through a show of vestment designs created during this time of pandemic and community quarantine.  Sr. M. Anthony was very grateful for the many creative works of the sisters despite the reality of national lockdown.  Indeed, many beautiful things were created at this time that the sisters were inside their respective communities.

We are wishing all the best to our Provincial Superior, Sr. M. Anthony Basa, and grateful to God for the services she humbly shared to the Province and to the congregation.  Thank you, Sr. M. Anthony for remaining humble and generous in every way.
