The easing out of the pandemic has provided the opportunity for the sisters directly involved in theliturgical apostolate of the Philippine-Taiwan-Hong Kong Province to once again hold the PLMI Meeting last June 11-12, 14-16, 2022 at the PDDM Apostolic Center in Manila.

The PDDM Liturgical Ministries, Inc. (PLMI) is an organized body composed of sisters in-charged of thedifferent departments of the liturgical apostolate of the PTH Province. This year, the sisters assigned indifferent workshops and liturgical centers as well as the heads of the production, inventory and marketing departments joined the meeting. Sisters assigned in areas outside Luzon and those in Taiwan and Hong Kong also participated online.

The series of gatherings was spearheaded by Sr. M. Magdalene Magallanes, the PLMI General Manager with the presence of Sr. M. Anthony Basa, the Provincial Superior of the PTH Province who is also the President of the PLMI.

The 1 st day which took place at the Divine Master Convent Workshop in Antipolo last June 11 featured a seminar on the Liturgical Vestments given by Sr. M. Carmeli Timbol, PDDM. It was followed by a Liturgical Exhibit held at the PDDM Apostolic Center in Manila on June 12 which showcased the creativities and apostolic initiatives of the sisters. Such activity also served as an expression of communion with Sr. M. Anthony on the occasion of her feastday.

Then, the succeeding meetings continued. On June 14, Sr. M. Anthony shared about the PDDM mission and particular ministries in the light of the Rule of Life and Directory of the congregation. Sr. M. Angie Rhona Alvarez imparted the fruit of her MBA studies—her thesis entitled An Analysis of the Marketing Mix of the PLMI: basis for a proposed Marketing Strategy. Sr. M. Cherylsalve enlightened the participants about Hurey POS, the software which facilitates the point of sale system of the PLMI. Also,
Sr. M. Ruth Nardo shared about Product Knowledge while viewing and evaluating the items at the exhibit area.

Each participant was given the chance to share the realities in her respective ministry on June 15. This segment provided an ambience for thorough exchange of ideas. Sr. M. Magdalene Magallanes capped the last day off with her sharing on the PLMI centralized policies and financial status. The resolutions were reviewed but will be finalized during the Executive Board meeting set on June 17.

The participants thanked God and one another for the gifts of openness and collaboration experienced by all throughout he course of the 2022 PLMI Meeting.
