Blessings on the Founder’s Birthday

The 140th Birth Anniversary of Blessed James Alberione, Founder of the Pauline Family, was highlighted by the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Religious Profession of two PDDM sisters, and the blessing of the Alberione Heritage Hall and the newly renovated convent rooms last April 4, 2024.

Sr. Maria Fe Nirza and Sr. Maria Pia Lumiwes celebrated God’s fidelity to them throughout these 60 years with other PDDM Sisters and some guests—friends, and benefactors at Divine Master Convent in Antipolo City.

The solemn Eucharistic Celebration at 10:00 a.m. was presided over by Rev. Fr. Gil Alinsangan, SSP, and the concelebrants—Msgr. Bobby Canlas and Rev. Fr. Maximo Gatela, OP.

After the Mass, a simple banquet and a program followed wherein the young ones in formation as well as some guests showcased their presentations for Sr. Maria Fe and Sr. Maria Pia. Greetings from different PDDM communities were also read.

In the afternoon, the Alberione Heritage Hall and the newly renovated convent rooms were blessed by Rev. Fr. Maximo Gatela, OP at 3:00 p.m.

The heritage hall located on the ground floor of the new Alberione House in Antipolo City is meant to enliven not only the apostolic mission of the PDDM from which Beauty saves but first and foremost the mystical experience of James Alberione. He gave this legacy (heritage) to the PDDM first and foremost wanting us to witness the contemplative dimension of the Pauline Family in the Church.

Indeed, we thank God for the gift of our founder, Blessed James Alberione. He remains a source of inspiration for us who have also responded to the Master’s call to discipleship.
